A Symposium Commemorating the Life and Work of Paul Schleyer

Announcement

The Symposium "Theory and Experiment: A Meeting at the Interface" will take place in Paul Schleyer's scientific home for two decades, The Chemistry Department at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg from Wednesday March 30th to Friday April 1st 2016. Speakers will be chosen by the session chairs but participants are also welcome to submit posters on any subject in the general areas of theoretical, organic and computational chemistry and their applications.

Details of the Symposium

The Symposium will consist of sessions that represent different phases in Paul’s career.
These are:

The symposium chairs are responsible for inviting speakers and scheduling their sessions. However, should you wish to volunteer, please send a mail to ccc-pvrs@fau.de giving a prospective title and the session in which you would like to speak and we will pass it on. As the number of speaking slots is limited, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accept all contributed talks.

We will be contacting you soon. On this website we will provide informations about hotels in Erlangen and keep you updated with the current program.

 

There may be a small conference fee, but we will try to gain sponsorship to avoid this. We are, however, unlikely to be able to pay speakers’ expenses.
